After a lot of market research, I have settled on Google Apps Preimer Edition. For a couple of bucks a year (R60ish per month to be exact) I have a polished 25gig email account – 10 year archiving and loads of other products and features across the Google Platform!

So far I am very happy with the product. Watch this space though.. I am sure that something will rear it’s ugly head – leading to a little bit of banter.

United States police officers pulled a man over for not stopping at a stop sign when they found four-year-old Navarro “marinating” and distinctly unhappy.

Gary Korkuc (51) allegedly told the cops that he was planning to cook his cat as it was “ill-tempered”. The Buffalo, New York state officers were also told that the neutered male cat was “pregnant”, the Buffalo News reported.

Navarro has since been taken in by animal rescue workers who want to have him adopted by a caring member of the public now that he has been cleaned up.

Korkuc has been charged with animal cruelty.

“It’s disgusting. It surprises me every day what people are capable of when it comes to violence, whether it is animals or people. I’ve never heard of anything like this before,” said Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals spokesperson Gina Browning.

“We can learn lessons in resiliency. He is purring away and getting ready for his next checkup. Thank God that police heard him. Thank God those cops took the initiative.”

These two avenues will all be part of riply.co.za, namely the PodCast and the Revolution. I honestly do not see the merit in doing a seperate blog for each. The Cycling group will migrate at a later stage, to another domain I have set aside

The PodCast is going to be dedicated to moving people from the narrow-minded, umm, mindset, that they have about Linux and specifically using Ubuntu as a medium to convert them! You will find my first PodCast on iMod.co.za next Thursday, followed by a weekly blurp there in the Server Guy section.
