'a realistically healthy' Lifestyle :)

It’s been a week since I launched my new blog – a2bFitness. While I have been a very good boy, attending all my spinning classes, this weekend more than likely did more damage than all the progress I’ve made over the past 10 days :P Partying’s bad.

This week comences along with the day-to-day blog entries of my path to a sub 3h30 Argus. I want to do a sub 3h30 for a few reasons, however, as with most blokes, there’s always that element of ‘screw you, you didn’t think I had it in me and now I’m going to show you who’s boss!!’ behind the scenes.

The past 72 hours have opened my eyes to a whole new world. One with so much potential. It’s no secret that I’ve been borderline depressed lately. Actually, no – I have been depressed. Not sad. Hollow. It can only be explained by the want to close your eyes and drift away. Not sleep, just disappear. It is no more. Or rather, I wont let me be.

I’m writing this post to encourage all of you to realise that we really do only live once. The choices we make along the way to our happiness get us through some of the toughest times and years of our lives. If you, like me, are sill having to make those choices, then you’ve not found your happiness, or lost it along the way. Make more choices. Change. Adapt. One day you’ll wake up and make that choice that changes you life forever. Forever happy.

Fitness for me is going to become a suitable replacemnt for now. And I’m going to let you see exactly how I achieve my goal. Join me.

Nice to hear that a2bfitness is finally happening. You know, if someone had to live blog daily exercise routines, it would be amazing.

I actually had a radical idea, I’ll tell you on GTalk :)

  • if you sad, gym. if you happy, gym. if you depressed, gym. if you horny, gym. if you lazy (take ephedrine and) gym. Using the gym or any physical excercise as an escape tool from all the worries of the world is somewhat of a revelation. Not only does it help one take their mind of things it just happens to give you a lekker body and ensures that you are in good shape in the process. Personally i play squash..boy does it give me peace of mind. Sitting in a room with your head burried in a pillow will just make you more of an emotional wreck. So i say to you, put the sorrow aside and head to the gym :)

  • a2bFitness’ well on it’s way to stardom ;)

Lum, gym is an old friend of mine haha I used it as a crutch for the better part of 2 years. It looks like it’s time to dust off the cob-webs again!!
Pillows are bad news. Equally are soppy romance movies. Bleh. I’m sure that in a couple months i’ll be smiling again!
